Thank you so very much for your posts, particularly, "Can you really teach an old dog..........?" It was just what I needed. I have had my dog, "Princess" since she was 8 weeks old and quickly regulated her to the back yard. Recently, I have begun training her and it would seem she had all put forgotten her former life at times; but this old dog has not. Attacks of conscience have caused me to slack off or become frustrated when I don't see immediate results. I'm so grateful to be reminded that all I can do about yesterday is leave it there and deal with today with love, patience and consistency! Thanks
